Do incoming international calls show up as international on cell phone bills?

I have a Sprint phone and my parents pay for it. I have a friend who lives in New Zealand and wants to call me. If he called, I need to find out if his incoming call would show up as international, or if it would give his details, etc. We do not have a plan that supports international calls. Please any help would be appreciated.

Yes they would actually show up as international call…just like if you were to text message internationally..
