LOL well at least you are polite. Hard to answer your question without knowing how you are trying to make the call. If you are using messenger to 'call a phone number' I believe you do not enter a 1, just the area code and number (for within US). I can't remember if when you sign up you tell yahoo where you are dialing from. If the above still doesn't work you might check that. I mean if you accidentally told yahoo at 'call signup' you were from UK and not US it might think you are dialing from overseas to the US???
